Warehouse Person - Rye

Our client who has been established since 2010, are a supplier of patterns, fabrics and tools to the world of sewing. They are currently looking for a Warehouse Person to join their hardworking and dedicated team.

The ideal candidate will possess demonstrable experience within a similar position, have a good eye for detail and be able to work well in a team. This role also requires you to hold a Full UK Driving Licence. As a Warehouse Person you will be following order lists to pick and pack products, as well as receiving delivery of goods and unloading pallets. Your duties will also include using the company vehicle to move stock between warehouse and retail store.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualities:

• Demonstrable experience within a similar position
• Possess a good eye for detail
• Be able to work well in a team
• Due to the role involving heavy lifting, the ideal candidate must be physically fit
• Hold a full UK Driving Licence

Your duties as a Warehouse Person will include:

• Receiving delivery of goods and storing them
• Checking for damaged or missing items
• Unloading of pallets
• Following order lists to pick and pack products (company operates a paper-based warehouse system)
• Using the company vehicle to move stock between warehouse and retail store
• Keeping and maintaining stock records
• Maintaining the warehouse in a clean and tidy manner

Salary:

£10 per hour

Hours:

• Monday – Friday, 9am – 5.30pm
• Temporary
