Warehouse Operative - Robertsbridge

Our client is a respected and long-established local company who specialise in the research, and providing solutions, for green infrastructure challenges in our cities. They have been effective in this field since their establishment in 1992 and are growing from strength to strength. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Operative to join their dedicated team in Bodiam, East Sussex.

The ideal candidate will possess demonstrable experience within Warehouse, hold a Pivot Steer Forklift as well as full UK Driving Licence and own transport. As a Warehouse Operative you will be receiving delivery of goods and storing them, checking for damaged or missing items. You will also be packaging goods and ensuring goods are loaded ready for sending.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualities:

• Demonstrable experience within Warehouse, Picking and Packing
• Hold a valid Forklift licence or previous experience of operating a forklift
• Due to heavy lifting, you must be physically fit
• Possess excellent communication skills
• Have a good eye for detail
• Be a strong team player
• Hold full UK Driving Licence and own transport

Your duties as a Warehouse Operative would be

• Receiving delivery of goods and storing them
• Checking for damaged or missing items
• Moving stock by hand and forklift
• Packaging of goods
• Ensuring goods are loaded ready for sending
• Keeping and maintaining stock records
• Using computerised stock systems (ERP)
• Maintaining the warehouse in a clean and tidy manner

Salary:

£22,500 + bonus

Hours:

Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm

Some weekend work may be required
