Our client is a leading global provider of high-quality vacuum equipment, with a goal of enabling the innovation, creation and advancement of a vast array of products. A vacancy has arisen for an experience TIG Welder to join their dedicated team.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience of TIG Welding, experience of working with Stainless Steel as well as experience of welding on a turn table and free hand. You will have knowledge in fitting, ability to fabricate from own jigs and fixtures would be an advantage.

As a TIG Welder you will be welding and fabricating products from start to finish, using technical drawings to ensure the highest level of quality within your work to satisfy orders and meet deadlines.

The ideal candidate will hold the following skills and experiences:

  • Demonstrable TIG Welding experience
  • Experience of working with Stainless Steel is essential (aluminium and brazing would be beneficial)
  • Experience of welding on a turn table and free hand
  • Knowledge in fitting
  • Ability to fabricate from own jigs and fixtures would be advantageous
  • Be able to read and work from Engineering drawings
  • Possess excellent verbal communication skills

Your duties as a TIG Welder will include:

  • Ensuring the accurate fabrication of components into appropriate end products
  • Working to customer specifications
  • Ensuring that company quality control procedures are always followed
  • Ensuring that all jobs issued are completed within the given timescales
  • Happy to contribute with overtime needs as and when the business needs assistance
  • Ensuring compliance with all aspects of the Health and Safety policy

Salary:

£21,000 - £30,000

Hours:

Monday – Friday
