Skilled Assembly Operative - St Leonards on Sea

Our clients are manufacturing companies who are based in Hastings and St Leonards who specialise in Electronic manufacturing.  They are currently looking for a Skilled Assembly Operative to join their busy and hardworking teams.

The ideal Skilled Assembly Operative will have demonstrable experience in an assembly role and be able to read and follow technical drawings.  As a Skilled Assembly Operative, you will be following technical drawings to assemble components and connectors as well as quality checking your own work.

The ideal Skilled Assembly Operative will hold the following skills and experiences:

• Demonstrable assembly experience
• Possess a strong understanding of technical drawings
• Have a strong attention to detail as well as good hand to eye coordination
• Be a strong team player
• Soldering experience is desirable

Your duties as a Skilled Assembly Operative would be:

• Assembly of components and connectors
• Soldering duties could be required
• Checking quality and quantity of work
• Reading and following technical drawings
• Maintaining a tidy workspace
• Assisting in other departments as and when required

Salary:

£10.50 per hour

Hours:

• Monday – Thursday: 8am – 5pm
• Friday: 8am – 1pm
