Our client is an established production company based in St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex. They are currently looking for an experienced Production Administrator to assist their busy team.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience within a similar position, possess strong written and verbal communication skills as well as a positive, professional and friendly approach in telephone and email communications. You will also possess experience and knowledge of BOMS and have good computer skills.
As a Production Administrator you will be undertaking all areas of administration including minute taking at meetings and organising diaries as well as dealing with any invoice queries. You will also be producing weekly and monthly reports, including the production overview report, as well as setting up or amending codes, BOMS and routes ensuring costings are correct.
The ideal candidate will hold the following skills and experiences:
- Demonstrable experience within a similar position
- Superb customer service skills
- Be an organised individual, who can work on your own initiative and prioritise your workload
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail and an excellent command of grammar and spelling
- Having a positive, professional, and friendly approach in telephone and email communications is essential
- Have very good computer skills e.g. Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)
- Experience and knowledge of BOMS is essential
- Experience as a Personal Assistant would be ideal
Your duties as a Production Administrator will include:
- Take minutes at meetings (Confidentiality is essential due to the nature of some of the meetings)
- Weekly and monthly reports
- Organising diaries
- Checking TimeMoto for inconsistencies, create overtime forms and late reports if required and inform management of any issues
- Checking Goods In and clearing of Production departments daily
- Organising weekly Supervisor’s meetings, take minutes and distribute as required. Follow up on any points that require it
- Filing (Confidentiality is essential due to the nature of some of the documents)
- Invoice queries – check invoices and advise of any discrepancies
- Daily/weekly forward planning for key materials
- Production overview reports
- Assisting with IT Training and development
- Assisting with departmental and annual costings
- Setting up or amend codes, BOMS and routes ensuring costings are correct
- Assisting with the manufacturing stock take
- Assisting with Product Development
- Providing cover for the Production Assistant role in their absence
- Carrying out other duties as and when required to facilitate the effective operation of the department and company as directed by the Production Manager, Operations Manager, Directors or other Senior Managers
Salary:
£21,000 - £25,000 per annum depending on experience
Hours:
Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week
7 – 9 months Temporary Position
