Office Administrator - Crowborough

Our client who has been established for over 35 years are a family run Industrial equipment supplier in Crowborough. They are currently recruiting for an Office Administrator to join their dedicated team.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience within an administration/finance support role, possess excellent computer skills, have strong written and verbal communication skills and a good eye for detail.

As an Office Administrator you will be undertaking general clerical duties such as answering the telephone and responding to emails, you will also process invoices on the company SAP system. Your duties will also include ordering office supplies and arranging relevant services required to equipment and the premises.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualities:

  • Demonstrable experience within an administration/finance support role
  • Possess excellent computer skills
  • Be adaptable and articulate
  • Have a good eye for detail
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Have a positive, professional, and friendly approach in telephone and email communications

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience of using Sage Line 50
  • Demonstrable experience in sales

Your duties as an Office Administrator would be:

  • Reporting to the Office Manager
  • Office and finance administration duties
  • Accounts payable and receivable
  • Booking deliveries with hauler
  • Assisting the Service manager with organising service work
  • Purchase/sale of spare parts supplies and bandsaw blades to company customers
  • Dealing with telephone enquiries
  • Dealing with email enquiries

Salary & Benefits:

  • £21,000 - £25,000 per annum depending on experience
  • 10% Bonus depending on company performance
  • £400 Bonus upon successfully completing 6 months’ probation period
  • 20 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Company Pension
  • On-site parking

Hours:

  • Mon – Thurs: 8.30am – 5pm and Fri: 8.30am – 4pm
  • Full Time, Permanent
