Driver - Class 2 - Hertfordshire

Our client is the UKs leading manufacturer and supplier of cable management solutions for a range of sectors including commercial and healthcare. They are currently looking for Driver - Class 2 to join their hardworking team in Watford.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in a similar role, hold a clean UK driving Licence/Class 2 Licence, possess manual handling experience as well as a hold a forklift truck licence or have experience of operating a forklift truck.

As a Driver – Class 2 you will carry out delivering driving to meet customer demands with occasional requirement to support with packing and loading.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualities:

• Hold a clean UK driving licence/Class 2 licence
• Demonstrable experience in a similar role
• A forklift truck licence/experience (training will be provided)
• Ability to work within the given timeframes ensuring that customer demands are met
• Possess Manual Handling experience
• Good timekeeping skills
• Ability to use IT databases/keyboard skills

Your duties as a Driver – Class 2 would be:

• Regular scheduled deliveries to the company’s wholesale customer base (average 12 – 15 drops per day)
• Goods vehicle operation/delivery driving/FLT operation
• Occasional picking and packing of orders to the demands of the customer
• Assisting with loading and unloading of vehicles and making timely and accurate customer deliveries
• Operate safely within a Warehouse/Fleet environment

Salary:

£25,000 - £30,000 per annum

Hours:

• 45 hours per week over five working days
• Full Time, Permanent
