Customer Collections Executive - Brighton

Our client is an established business that specialises in protecting appliances and electrical items for customers across the UK. They are currently looking for a Customer Collections Executive to join their dedicated team in Brighton, East Sussex.

The ideal candidate will possess demonstrable experience in a similar position, be a confident communicator with the ability to be calm under pressure and be able to deal with challenging situations. As a Customer Collections Executive, you will be assisting customers in maintaining their service plans with the company so that their appliance protection remains in place providing peace of mind that the company will be there for them is something stops working.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualities:

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar position
  • Be a confident communicator with an engaging personality
  • Focussed and driven to achieve the best outcomes for customers and the business
  • Be happy to act on your own initiative, making decisions and doing the right thing
  • Capable of prioritising a varying workload, across different platforms
  • Be calm under pressure and able to deal with challenging situations

Your duties as a Customer Collections Executive will include:

  • Identifying customers as early as possible who have missed payments you will be pro-active in contacting them to negotiate repayment and provide suitable advice
  • Working in a friendly team working in a fast-paced environment where you will be empowered to make decisions
  • Working to individual and team KPI’s including quality, productivity, efficiency and collections effectiveness

Salary and Rewards Package:

  • Up to £23,000 per annum depending on experience
  • OTE £27,000 - £32,000 (uncapped commission)
  • 25 days annual holiday plus bank holidays, plus a day off for your birthday!
  • Free exercise classes

Hours:

  • Monday – Friday, 9am – 6pm (with an hour for lunch)
  • Saturdays are expected that you would commit to 1 Saturday per month, minimum 9am-1pm but is not contractual (these would be paid at time and a half after training)
  • Full Time, Permanent
