Automotive Connected Car Project Engineer Are you an Automotive Electronics Engineer looking to progress your career supporting a major OEM deliver state of the art Telematics and Connected Car technology into their current and future vehicles? ASL Technical are now working with a leading Automotive Technical Centre as they look to expand their Connected Car Design team. Main Purpose of the Connected Car Project Engineer Component design and development management against programme timelines. Cost optimisation idea generation and implementation. Post SOP quality improvement activity management Telematics feature development. Development of TCU software feature and quality improvements Establish a solid FOTA process to enable quick deployment to market. Managing Tier 1 suppliers to deliver products to Quality, Cost & Timing targets. Connected Car Opportunity Ideally you will have 2 years plus experience gained within a vehicle electronics environment and a relevant degree in a STEM subject. Ideally experienced gained within an Automotive Tier 1 or OEM environment although other industry experience may be consider. Experience of Connected Car, IOT and telecoms would be a distinct advantage. Remuneration This is a 12 month contract opportunity operating inside IR35 and the successful candidates can expect to receive the following in addition to the advertised rate: Holiday and Bank Holiday pay Pension A variety of additional benefits such as options for retail discounts, insurance and health benefits.
