ASL Technical are now working with a leading Automotive Technical Centre as they look to expand their Connected Car Design team.
Main Purpose of the Connected Car Project Engineer
- Component design and development management against programme timelines.
- Cost optimisation idea generation and implementation.
- Post SOP quality improvement activity management
- Telematics feature development.
- Development of TCU software feature and quality improvements
- Establish a solid FOTA process to enable quick deployment to market.
- Managing Tier 1 suppliers to deliver products to Quality, Cost & Timing targets.
Connected Car Opportunity
- Ideally you will have 2 years plus experience gained within a vehicle electronics environment and a relevant degree in a STEM subject.
- Ideally experienced gained within an Automotive Tier 1 or OEM environment although other industry experience may be consider.
- Experience of Connected Car, IOT and telecoms would be a distinct advantage.
Remuneration
This is a 12 month contract opportunity operating inside IR35 and the successful candidates can expect to receive the following in addition to the advertised rate:
- Holiday and Bank Holiday pay
