Main Purpose of Body Electronics Engineer
- Application and integration of electrical and electronic components
- Releasing and maintaining the vehicle BOM
- Management and liaison with suppliers
Experience / Knowledge for the Body Electronics Engineer
- Ideally degree qualified in relevant subject, although experience will be considered.
- 3 years or more relevant experience in automotive industry
- Knowledge of electrical theory and electronic devices
- Knowledge of hardware and software development processes
- Project and supplier management experience
- Ability to travel within the UK and internationally to suppliers, plants, other global R&D centres on an infrequent basis.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with excellent communication and project management skills.
